Who needs snow tires?
I’d like to have one of these powered by a diesel Mercedes W123 wagon – looks like it works very well, as long as dry pavement isn’t involved.

Provided you've got lots of snow and few obstacles, looks like you can don your necktie and fedora and go haul some logs! I wonder how that screw-drum technology would translate to a more compact vehicle?
